Rayleigh and District Primary Care Network (PCN) will be joining with local partners to offer health advice and community support to those who would like help to manage respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD.
Working as part of your GP practice team, our clinicians will be able to offer asthma reviews and NHS healthchecks and input the details on your GP record, to save you having to make an appointment at your practice.
At the event, you will be able to speak to clinicians about your condition and learn more about asthma inhaler technique, get a NHS healthcheck, get support and advice if you are living with long COVID, and take part in Essex County Council’s slipper exchange.
There will also be FREE seated exercise taster sessions, run by a local Move it or Lose it instructor.
What is the Slipper Exchange?
Did you know that unsuitable and old mishapen slippers can contribute to falls in older people? By simply changing your slippers, and selecting the appropriate style, you can reduce your risk of falling and therefore receiving injuries.
Come along and swap your old sloppy slippers for a new FREE pair of well-fitted, non-slip slippers.
